Literature Text

Lurking in shadows,
Stalking his prey,
He leaps from his viewpoint,
Into the hay.

With silent footsteps,
He follows nearby,
Gently pushing his way,
Knowing who will die.

The soon to be victim,
Stops and turns,
And of his fate,
He quickly learns.

His arms wide open,
Welcoming death,
The hooded man strolls forward,
With a short, quiet breath.

The blade, thin and sharp,
Slid into the mans throat,
A gargle was made,
Silenced by a nearby goat.

As quickly as that,
The man dropped to the floor,
The hooded man was gone,
As guards came through a door.

'Who did this?!' they yelled,
Looking at the wound below his chin,
Only one thought came to mind,
That was the thought, of the Assassin.
Based on the game, Assassin's Creed, kind of.

A little different than what I have written before, but I still hope you like it :)

Some of the lines may sound stupid, like the goat bit, only because I was trying to rhyme as much as possible.
