Literature Text

Chasing dreams like butterflies
Trying your best to catch them
But they always flutter away
And you end up missing by an inch

Trying to hold on to faded memories
As they grow distant in your mind
They used to be fond and strong
But now they're more like dying wishes

Holding on to everything you have left
Clutching it close to your heart
Locking it away in a mental cage
To make sure that it doesn't escape

Dreams, Memories, Feelings
You can't keep them all
Because they always flutter away
Just like a butterflies
Not too sure about this one personally. I like how I started, but not really too keen on how I ended it.

Enjoy.
